World Customs Organization Chooses Bernan as Distributor

The World Customs Organization, based in Brussels, is the intergovernmental organization focused on Customs issues. The WCO’s mission is to improve the effectiveness and the efficiency of its Member Customs administrations across the globe. Founded in 1952 as the Customs Cooperation Council, it adopted the name World Customs Organization in 1994 to reflect its status as a global institution. It represents 174 Customs administrations plus the European Communities. WCO Members are responsible for processing more than 98% of all international trade.
The WCO promotes an honest, transparent and predictable Customs environment that helps legitimate international trade to flourish while simultaneously making it possible to take effective action against fraudulent activities.
